APRENDE is a 10 week program. APRENDE prepare you to successfully transition to a Department of Labor registered apprenticeship in the trades.

A Career in the Construction Industry

This annual 11-week training program begins every February and equips its participants with the skills training needed to compete for jobs in energy and infrastructure.

Bilingual Medical Assistant program: Enrollment Open
DESCRIPTION OF THE PROGRAM
The 40-week Bilingual Medical Assistant program (BMA) prepares graduates to work in medical assistant positions. It will provide training in anatomy and physiology, medical law and ethics, clinical skills, pharmacology, microcomputer applications, medical office procedures, CPR, and First Aid.
This program is conducted in our medical laboratory, computer laboratory, and adjacent classrooms. Upon successfully completing academic coursework and laboratory training, eligible students participate in a supervised field practice experience that enables them to apply what they have learned in the classroom. Students will need to complete 160 clock hours in a healthcare facility, which may take place at a medical office, physician’s office, clinic, or other related healthcare facilities.
ENROLLMENT PREREQUISITES
Completed High School or GED. Placement Test results. Admission interview, successfully completed drug and alcohol test, and background screening.
Required documents: Copy of High School or GED certificate. Valid driver’s License or ID. Proof of residency (if different from license/ ID). Social Security Number (and parent’s social security numbers if dependent). Birth Certificate. College transcripts/degree/certificate (if attended other college). For Not U.S. citizens: Alien registration or permanent resident card.
