The English as a Second Language classes are designed for adults (18 years of age and older), regardless of their educational background. These courses are designed to address the English as a Second Language and Citizenship needs of Latinos residing in and around Chicago’s South Side neighborhoods. English as a Second Language (ESL) are individual classes that provide instruction for students whose primary language is other than English.

Citizenship classes are offered to help students acquire basic knowledge in Constitution and U.S. History necessary to satisfy requirements for citizenship. All courses may be repeated.
