The Medical Consortium is comprised of professionals in
the medical field representing various branches of the
medical industry
from leading
area hospitals and medical centers.
These professionals came together for the purpose of
developing the Bilingual Medical Assistant program under
the
Dr.
Assir
Daniel DaSilva Health Careers Program.
Members oversee the progress and the evaluation of the
program, as well as approve any changes in the curriculum.
In
addition,
the Consortium serves
as a valuable link to the medical
industry by allowing NLEI to stay abreast of any emerging
trends, changing
demographics, and procedures
or policies in the
healthcare field. Most importantly, the
Medical Consortium
serves
as
a vital employer resource.
